Laser Cutting

In-house Laser Cutting Equipment for Premium Custom Acrylics

We own professional acrylic laser cutting equipment, with all processes completed in-house to ensure high-quality customization, precision, and on-time delivery. Laser cutting is ideally suited for 2D flat cutting, sheet profiles, hollowing, rapid prototyping, and flat signage, offering excellent cost-effectiveness and quick turnaround. Many buyers face issues such as rough edges, blackened edges, damaged fine patterns, inconsistent dimensions between batches, and slow communication for order changes. By keeping the core cutting process in-house, we guarantee smooth, clean cuts, stable accuracy, and effortless realization of complex shapes.

I. Core Advantages for Custom Clients

  • 1. Advantage in Surface Finish
Clean cuts with a reasonable process that significantly reduces burnt edges, charring, and scorch marks. Fine outlines, letters, and hollow designs are cut smoothly without the need for extensive secondary polishing. When followed by diamond or flame polishing, it easily achieves a mirror-like transparent edge—ideal for high-end display stands and storage boxes.
  • 2. Advantage in Processing Precision
Supports complex irregular shapes, micro-text, and dense hollow pattern customization. Minimal dimensional errors ensure consistent sizing across mass production. Smooth cut profiles lead to higher precision in subsequent processes like thermoforming, bonding, and slotting, resulting in smaller assembly gaps.
  • 3. Advantage in Design Freedom
We accept PDF, CDR, CAD, DXF, and STEP vector files (we provide basic drafting and size adjustment assistance; complex 3D structures require separate consultation). No molds are required, offering flexible small-batch prototyping and low new-product testing costs. Compatible with a wide range of materials: clear, colored, frosted, and mirrored acrylic sheets.
  • 4. Advantage in Delivery and Supply Chain
In-house equipment means the cutting process is completely handled internally without outsourcing. This eliminates back-and-forth shipping and cost haggling, making delivery timelines easier to control. Any drawing adjustments or modification requests can be responded to faster.

II. Application Scenarios & Follow-up Processes

Application Scenarios: Laser cutting is perfectly suited for acrylic display boxes, jewelry organizers, advertising signs, photo frames, retail display props, and industrial acrylic components, ensuring stable and reliable production.

Seamless Process Integration: Our laser-cut semi-finished products can move directly to subsequent processes such as CNC engraving, diamond polishing, thermoforming, bonding, sandblasting/UV printing, and magnetic assembly, offering a true one-stop solution.

III. Frequently Asked Questions

1. Can laser cutting avoid yellowing on the edges? +

Edge yellowing can be significantly reduced, but not completely eliminated.
By selecting the proper cast acrylic material and using nitrogen-assisted processing, we can drastically improve edge clarity and achieve a transparent cut surface. Please note that cast acrylic offers a far superior result compared to extruded sheets. While we minimize it, absolute zero yellowing cannot be 100% guaranteed.

2. What is the minimum size for fine patterns and text in acrylic? +

Minimum dimensions depend on the process.
For engraving, the minimum text size can be as small as 1.5mm. For hollow-cut text, we recommend a minimum of 3mm to ensure structural integrity. Additionally, the wall thickness of fine lines must not be less than 0.8mm, as smaller structures are prone to breaking.

3. Is laser cutting suitable for both prototypes and mass production? +

Highly suitable for samples and small batches.
Laser cutting is exceptionally efficient for prototyping, small-batch orders, and highly customized multi-style designs. However, for ultra-large, single-product mass production, it may be slightly less efficient compared to other dedicated mass-production equipment, though we still handle it stably with our in-house resources.
